It’s official, we’re going to Walt Disney World, and oh boy, I can’t wait.

…but something about booking the trip of a lifetime has changed my attitude towards Disney and how I’ve stopped sharing so much of my love for the big Mouse.

Before we get any further, let’s discuss details, we booked the trip in early April with a 10 month wait (and plenty of time to save) until our trip in January 2023.

When are we going: January 2023.
How long for: 14 days
Where are we staying: All Star Sports Resort
Who are we travelling with: Virgin Atlantic
Where from: Heathrow, London > Orlando, Florida.

After realising we’ve spent so many years with uncertainty and realising our dream home won’t be available to us anytime soon, I decided it was time to just say f*ck it and have something to look forward to and already in those 2 weeks, everything in life feels calmer but don’t get that confused with lack of excitement, I’ve spent every waking moment thinking about Disney and our trip, yet it’s felt like my attitude towards life has shifted completely.

My love and admiration for Disney has never changed, it’s always been a part of my life, but the way in which I share it has. Prior to this trip I’ve only ever been to Disneyland Paris, I don’t always incorporate Disney into my everyday style and I don’t always want to watch Disney+.

…and while that’s okay, I’ve also come to the realisation that I want to embrace my Disney Adult more and I guess for anyone else feeling the way I’m feelings, this is for us!

Over the years of being online, I’ve found that Disney adults get a bad rep and over time, I’ve limited what I share with fear of a similar judgement, but who cares! Let us enjoy our lives.

Not everyone loves Disney and not everyone understands why adults enjoy it as much as the kids, but when it brings such an enjoyment into your life from a young age, who should tell you when to stop.

Maybe this was more of a trip announcement than a helpful blog post, but here’s to embracing ourselves for who we want to be, here’s to ignoring people judgement and here’s to a trip of a lifetime.

I’m *finally* finding more time to write and I’m finally finding myself more motivated with my blog, so in the coming months keep an eye out for more Disney blogs and more travel, lifestyle and fashion content.

Love ya’s x
