1. What’s your name & blog name?

Hey my name is Emma Sheehan and my blog
is called ‘The Ordinary Girls Guide to Mastering her Make Up’ www.masteringyourmakeup.blogspot.ie

2. Give a little introduction about
yourself:

I am almost 27, a dancing queen and ultimate poser. My blog is a far
cry from my day job as I am a drug prevention and education youth officer. I
have a wonderful family, great friends and an amazing boyfriend. I have
recently moved to Dublin and on a night out you will find me on the dance floor
with a camera in hand!

3. What inspired you to blog and
your blog name?

I
started my blog in October 2013. I have always loved make up and in the last
year or two, I have spent a fortune on it but not really sure how to use it. I
decided to start visiting MUA’s around Ireland to see what I could learn. It
was after attending a few master classe,s that friends of mine suggested I blog
about what I’m learning. This is where my blog came from, a practical guide for
girls like me who spend a fortune on make up but are not exactly sure how to
use it.

4. What’s you blog focus on and what
do you love blogging about?

The focus of
my blog is providing tips and tricks on good make up application. It is also a
spot to hear about new products and alternative ‘cheaper’ products too. My fave
part of the blog is showing before and after pics from a make up application.

5. What’s your biggest passion?

I
LOVE taking pictures!! During 2013 I invested in a really good camera and still
haven’t a clue how to use it. I think in life it is so important to capture the
moments that make you smile. We all need to keep the memories of great times
alive and taking pictures is a fantastic way to hold onto memories and people.

6. You’ve been given 20 minutes to
shop for whatever you want! What do you buy?

Straight to a make up counter with me. I am a
huge lippy lover so bold colours would be the first thing I lash into. Possibly
followed by eyeshadows and not forgetting foundation but point me in the
direction of make up and I’m happy J

7. 4 things you want to accomplish
in 2014?

I want to read more than 5
books in the year (it sounds ridiculous but I don’t read at all) I also want to
take my photography course and I really want to move into a new home with my
boyfriend.

8. What’s a must buy that you
recommend to everyone? (It can be anything)

I think for me it has to be a
camera… make up is wonderful but if you can’t snap it up then it can feel like
a waste… save the moments!!
